This is awesome! It sounds like something you would hear at a big festival :). At first I thought the main drop lead synth was a bit dry but after listening to it a bit more I actually really like the effect it creates. Now I can't get this song out of my head aaaaahh

bleenOfficial responds:

hahah thank you mate! <3

The foley and sound effects are soo good. The structure and mixing are also really solid. Good to have you back making stuff friendo :)

bleenOfficial responds:

Hahah thank you mate for these words! <3 Can't wait to hear new stuff from you as well! :D

You wanna tell me you made this in just 3 days? Suspicious lmao unless you stayed up all night, or it's all just samples

Edit: Ok just wanted to check lol :) btw did you already submit it? bc you still have a lot of time left so might as well use it to perfect the track

larrynachos responds:

Actually it's quite common for me to pop out a song in a day or two because I keep things simple. According to my logs, I spent 139 minutes before I went to bed wednesday morning, 172 minutes that evening, and 190 minutes wrapping it up this morning (for a total of around 8 hours). Synths I used include Serum, Sylenth1, and FL Studio's FLEX. Only use fx/foley/vox samples sparingly and within the rules of the competition.

I'll take your suspicion as a compliment though. My tracks usually sound rushed and unpolished, I'm glad this one sounds like more effort was put into it.

Lit! Some good ol house kinda melodic dubstep. I do recommend breaking up the chord stacks in the drop for some added rhythm and space though :)

KingCamdenTheGreat responds:

I agree, thanks

Super cool! How do you get chiptuny sounds to work like this lol

Greyvoice responds:

I use Massive for most of my chiptunes needs. A lot of customizability, and it gives you a good starting point! Plus a fair use of reverb and making the attack super slow and decay fairly long

Yeahhhhhhhh! How did this get rated only 3.5 stars? This is really neat!

TheSMMusic responds:

Thank you :)

Oooooh yeahhh! I see you are playing around with some cool new ambiences :D. Sounds great with the drums too! Newgrounds really needs to go out and add more genre types to choose from when uploading music tho, there's not even future garage, orchestral or melodic dubstep :(

bleenOfficial responds:

That's true! :D I really fell in love with this dark ambience of Future Garage :o

Having more genres would be fantastic to be honest :o I always missed Future Bass which is extremly popular nowadays, but still it's not on Newgrounds ;c

Thanks for your comment <3

Nice and smooth. Funky too!

quantumdylan responds:

Haha, I love a good spot of funk! I never knew FM sounds could end up so smooth.

Nice! Some of those chords are really spicy and I love it :). Also the ambience in the second half is great. Some ways to improve it would be to either turn down the velocity of the notes you are playing or roll of the high end on the piano to create a more calming feel. And maybe a bit slower bpm would help. But other than that great work on this! :)

CaptainBoomcake responds:

yeah this is like me splurging some musical scribbles so I probably wont revisit this exact piece again, however I will take all this into account on future piano endeavours thanks!

Love those growls before the buildup! I like these kind of 'bubbly' growls (I don't really know how to describe it). Maybe a tutorial on those? :) Also strong VR vibes and its great!

AleXizGD responds:

Sure, I'll do a tutorial in the future
